Global Config in IBP 5.0

Hello Experts,

Happy New year to all!!!!

I am noticing that Global Config default settings are missing in IBP 5.0 systems. IBP 4.0 systems used to come with default global settings.

2 questions

1) Did any thing change with IBP 5.0?

2) How to get all JAM / Collaboration config values in global confg?

Any insights appreciated.....

Hello Krishna

The underlying JAM integration concept has been changed to the Social Media Integration for ABAP (ABAP SMI). Hence the configuration is done on the Configuration IMG.

For IBP cloud, it will be taken care by the SAP team.

Could you please let me know where to see ABAP AMI in IMG? I remember you used to have blog on Jam?...is there updated blog for Jam in IBP 5.0?

Check the SAP help documentation Configuration - Social Media Integration - SAP Library.

in IMG: SAP Netweaver -> UI Technologies -> SAP Jam Integration.

The blog is for the SuccessFactor BizX-JAM configuration for the IBP collaboration and it is independent of the ABAP SMI setup for JAM integration.

Only if you have accessed to the backend ABAP SAP Gui. Hence no possibility to check those configuration.
