SAP PI 7.4 Java Only - SPROX_CHECK_HTTP_COMMUNICATION error

Hi everyone,

I am currently encountering this error while trying to run this report "SPROX_CHECK_HTTP_COMMUNICATION"

I am using SAP PI 7.4 Java only.

HTTP communication contains errors (see long text for diagnosis)

Message no. SPRX086

Diagnosis

The HTTP communication of this application server is not functioning correctly.

When calling the method
IF_HTTP_CLIENT=>RECEIVE
the exception
HTTP_COMMUNICATION_FAILURE
was triggered.
The short text for this exception reads as follows:
Communication Error

Procedure

Hi Aiman,

1. You would have created one HTTP destination in SM59 - PI_AAE or some name with prefix /XISOAPMessage......... just do a connection test. Do you get a result 200 OK?

If yes then next point

2. have you created another SM59 http destination SAP_PROXY_ESR

this one is important - it should also have a connection test result OK

3. I both are ok can you post a screen shot of the configuratin done in SXMB_ADM?

Hello Aiman.

Go to SM59 and check for the connection of PI(Sproxy and data sending Connection).

Ping and check,Might be username/password issue

Also run Sproxy and check whether PI ESR tree is displayed
