Business Blueprint in Solman 7.2

Hi All,

A very Happy new year to all... !!!

As SAP is gearing up for release of Solman 7.2 in 2016, I have few queries w.r.t Business Blueprint(BB).

1. In 7.1 we have multiple ways to create BB like RBPD, Manual, BPR etc. So will these options will still remain in 7.2 or it will be only through Application Component Hierarchy (ACH). ?
2. Will I be able to migrate my 7.1 BB  to 7.2 even though BB was generated using RBPD/Manual/BPR
3. If i have used ACH in 7.1 itself for BB, will it have more advantages while migrating to 7.2 ?

Hi Praveen.

As I heard, going from 7.1 to 7.2 will be little bit tricky.

Add 1) RBPD and BPR is depreciated and no further innovation will come. Everything will be moved to cloud from where you can download only things you need.

Add 2) If you created you documentation in 7.1 via process of activation you can transfer it to 7.2. Structures in 7.2 are significantly different from 7.1 and this activation is one way trip. So be careful. I think that there are some documents describing this activation process and few programs which you can use to determine the right content.

Add 3) from my point of view it is just a content co you can migrate it as well but if you wait form cloud library a heard that there will be lots of new stuff also diagrams document and so on suitable for 7.2.
