KOB5 Error

Dear All,

While executing Tcode KOB5, getting error message,

"Internal Order Number 140153 Can be Settled asset 3200001, Message No. 8I000"

Actually We have two Company Code say Company code X and Y.

Controlling Area and Chart of Account are same for both Company Code.

I have Asset code 3200001 created for both company with different company code.

e.g

Company code : X

Asset code : 3200001

IO No. 140153

Company Code : Y

Asset Code : 3200001

Io No. : 150067.

Now I am executing KOB5 for Company code Y and Io No. 150067.

While line item settlement, assigning Asset code 3200001.

At this time system gives error message.

Actually system taking IO no. of Company Code X. System should take io no. 150067.

So what can be the Problem. Pl need help to solve issue.

Now I don't want to settle internal order to different company code. Also don't want to capitalized expenses to different company code.

I want to settle internal order to same company code for which it has been created.

In my case I have created internal Order no 150067 for company code Y. Also Asset 3200001 created for Company code Y.

And I want to settle Internal Order 150067 for company code Y only.

But system gives message for Internal Order 140153 which is created for Company code X.

Hi,

You either block the asset in X company code or change settlement rule for Internal Order 140153

Blocked Asset and tried to execute KOB5 but giving same error.

Settlement rule cannot be changed as it's already used.

Pl give some other solution
