Hi,

When performing a patch update (K-60016INISOIL.SAR,KH60016.SAR,KNA7016.SAR,KNA7017.SAR) it trows this error and transport stops with RC=8

Pls guide me how to solve this!

Table BSEG is in physical pool/cluster: RFBLG

Fields names differ (old - PRODPER and new - KSTAR)

An SQL error occurred during a test access to the table

An inconsistency between the nametab and database may exist

Result   BSEG:    Action: CNV      Mode flag: E    Return code: 8

But when check the BSEG from se11, it shows these 2 fields

(old - PRODPER and new - KSTAR)

Screenshot attached.1.jpg/2.jpg

Whats the reason KSTAR and PRODPER fields appears in 2 different colors.

regards,

zerandib

Dear Zerandib,

2 Different color is not a problem KSTAR is a actual field present in the table and field PRODPER has been came from Append Structure, basically you should not get such error as both field has different data type.

I would suggest to raise an OSS with SAP for this, as error looks very weird.

Hi Zerandib,

Please consider SAP Note  24864 - No conversion of the table BSEG

            Fields names differ (old - PRODPER and new - KSTAR)

Hi,

You should follow SAP KBA  1900549 - Add-on Installation fails due to inactive nametab

Hope this will help you.

Hi Rana,

Thx for the info...

According to the sap note  1248769 , when trying to reconstruct the table it is in disable/inactive status

Any idea?

SE14 -> BSEG table ...EDIT

Table -> Reconstruct (inactive)

Its status is showing as 'upgrade'

Hi,

You need to preform the set of actions in Client 000 with DDIC user.

Yes Prithviraj exactly, it is done that way

Is it possible to check this bseg is locked by some program or like that?

Hi

Check if any tp process is running. Check DB01 to see any lock on the table

If possible, give a system restart and then repeat the import.

Prithviraj.
