Including Virtual MDTs in PA

Hi,

In my planning area, I have two Versions: Basline and CUSTOM (having version specific MDT)

Using a Virtual MDT I have created a join between Production Resource MDT and Source Production MDT on SOURCEID.

I want to include this Virtual MDT in my Version: CUSTOM.

Is this possible?

Regards,

Hi Saabitri,

Following is copied from Model Configuration Guide -

Virtual master data types are used to create a join between 2 or more master data types. They can be based on simple or compound master data types, but not on reference or other virtual master data types.

Both these MDTs ( S2PRODUCTIONRESOURCE and S2PRODUCTIONSOURCEITM ) are of SIMPLE Master Data Types.

Answer to your question is -  YES, it is possible to create Virtual MDT as mentioned by you.

Hope this will help.

Thank you
