Start SUM SP15 on Windows Server 2012 R2

Hello,

I am trying to start SUM SP15 on Win 2012 R2 to update SAP NetWaver 7.5.

After executing the command

e:\usr\sap\GSP\SUM>STARTUP confighostagent

I get the following message

**** Configuring SUM Abap ... ****

e:\usr\sap\GSP\SUM\startup.js(138, 2) WshShell.RegRead: Invalid root in registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\SAP HostAgent\InstallLocation"

But this registry key exists.

The SUM don't start with url http://<server>:1128/lmsl/upgrade/<SID>/doc/gui

Help me please resolve this issue.

Hi Andrey,

I'm not quite sure, but it looks like the value of the key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\SAP HostAgent\InstallLocation" is invalid. I suppose you can double check on this.

The issue had been resolved with start "STARTUP confighostagent" as Administrator.
