We have Local SLD and Central SLD in our landscape , How to synchronize both ?

Hi Experts,

We are trying to configure PI Monitoring in the Solution Manager .

But that we have found that Solution Manager also have Local SLD .

Kindly suggest that how to synchronize the Central SLD with the Solution Manager Local SLD in order to proceed with the PI Monitoring configuration.

Hello Varsha,

If you are looking from central PI MON perspective , your synch. between your central SLD and local SolMan SLD will not work if you are looking at full content synch to bring in the domian data and feed to PI mon application in SolMan.

Look at note# 1631346.

But the PI monitoring of SAP Solution Manager 7.1 requires both business systems and PI infrastructure data in one SLD, specifically in one CIM namespace of an SLD.

If you use central SLD as feeder to LMDB and your local SLD for PI monitoring ,then its two different CIM namespace and may not work for central PI Mon.
