Hi Abhinav,

Have you already checked note 1822831? Please do so. You may also increase the timeout settings a little bit more.

Apart from that, you can proceed as follows:

1) If you're using a web dispatcher, please try to remove the web dispatcher configuration in SOLMAN_SETUP and run the step again. If it doesn't fail, we narrow down the issue to the web dispatcher.

2) After reproducing the issue, call transaction SOAMANAGER and check the SOA Runtime Log/Trace Viewer. Find the respective call and in which instance the error occurred. Once you find it, access this instance and check the dev_icm log, via transaction ST11, you have to check the latest lines. If there are no errors in the dev_icm, it means that the ICM was able to handle the call and the error occurred somewhere else.

3) Having no error in the dev_icm, you can check the defaultTrace of the Solution Manager. You can do that via SOLMAN_WORKCENTER > Root Cause Analysis > E2E Analysis > System Analysis > Select the Solution Manager Java stack and open the Log Viewer.

In the log viewer, select the correct instance as you found in SOAMANAGER and choose the respective server node, search for the respective error and post the details here.

Kind regards,

Daniel.

Hi Abhinav,

Did you try restarting ICM services .

SMICM->Administration->ICM ->Exit soft ->Global

Also do you have any additional application instance ,if yes make sure you have HTTP port defined for that also
