Dear friends,

Has anyone tried having user defined statues to transaction type SDCR..

I did it but the user defined statues remains inactive always..

The way the user defined statues are changed in SDCR is only through actions..

So we are facing this problem..

Ny help would certainly be rewarded..

Regards,

Suzzane.

Hey Avinash,

We are goiing to have customer status profile(copy of std status profile) and customer action profile( copy of standard action profile).

The customer status profile will have new statues apart standard statues..

Then we will attach this customer statues profile and action profile to sdcr transaction type..

What are the steps (in spro) that needs to be taken to ensure that everthing is alrite..

Tnx in advance..

Hi Suzzane,

If you do not want to use the transaction types provided by SAP, you can copy an existing transaction type as a template for your own transaction type. (You could copy SDCR and rename it as ZDCR, for example.)

If you require additional user status values, copy the status profile of your template and rename the profile. (You could copy SDCRHEAD and rename it as ZDCRHEAD, for example). Do NOT create a completely new profile without using a template.

In the IMG activity Make Settings for Transaction Types, you can include all settings that are relevant forChange Request Management in your transaction type by using the copy template.

Solman->Senario specific settings->Change Request Management->Extended Configuration->Change Transaction->Change Transaction type->Make settings for change Transaction type

1.First copy the existing transaction to the custom transaction(SDCR- >ZDCR)

2.Define your new status profile by copying it from the standard and add your status.

3.Add this status profile name in the Transaction data

4.In the Action profile copy the standard to your cuztome profile (SDCR->ZDCR) and assign the same in Transaction data.Define the actions for your new status

5.Under Define conditions, check with the SDCR condition and add to ZDCR

Revert for any clarifications,

Thanks and Regards,

Hi suzzane,

Have you created a new transaction type?If you are creating a new transaction type, try to copie the profile from SDCR.It will be better if you creat a transaction ZDCR and copy all the profiles of SDCR.This will help us,because the when you check the task under action list,we can use the same shedule conditions.

How you tried to activate the status?Pls check the follwoing points.

1.In the status profile have you set the transaction control?

2.Define the new transaction in "assign implementation to change transaction".

3.Activities in "Make Settings for Change Transaction Types"

4.Defined the status atribute

5.Defined the actions for the status.

Revert for any clarification,

Thanks and regards,

Avinash.
