ERROR => Request URI too long and ERROR => illegal request in DEV_ICM

Hi All,

We are getting below error continuously in DEV_ICM log file.

[Thr 4352] *** ERROR => Request URI too long, size=13615 [ictxxfilt.c  193]

[Thr 4352] *** ERROR => illegal request {0059f778} [http_auth.c 747]

[Thr 4784] *** ERROR => Request URI too long, size=13613 [ictxxfilt.c  193]

[Thr 4784] *** ERROR => illegal request {0059f77d} [http_auth.c 747]

[Thr 5012] *** ERROR => Request URI too long, size=13613 [ictxxfilt.c  193]

[Thr 5012] *** ERROR => illegal request {0003f782} [http_auth.c 747]

[Thr 5104] *** ERROR => Request URI too long, size=13615 [ictxxfilt.c  193]

[Thr 5104] *** ERROR => illegal request {0003f786} [http_auth.c 747]

Also Dev_ICM_SEC** files are getting created continuously.

I had already gone through SCN link

We will not  able to do kernel update because it is production system.

Kindly provide the pointers on this.

Hello,

Verify whether the dev_icm or dev_icm_sec reveal the URI and the client IP address.

You need to verify why the client is sending such invalid request.

If the current traces do not show this, a level 2 trace from the ICM will.
