Hi
My scenario is
SAP R/3 - XI - SAP CM
Today we are running this integration scenario on an old R/3 test environment and I'm going to use an other system with a new copy of the R/3 system.
What I haven't really got a clue about are these d--n proxies...
Where do you specify how the communication to XI is done over this proxy?
As you can se we have an outbound message leaving R/3 passing XI and entering CM. There's a program in R/3 that triggers this event to CM. But I cannot find the place where you configure which system to talk to
So if someone understands my issue, from my fuzzy explanation of the problem, please tell me how to do this ASAP
Regards
Magnus
Hi,
>>>>Where do you specify how the communication to XI is done over this proxy?
two ways
a) from R3 to XI - you need to specify connection to SLD (from your R3)
and inside a business system (and technical system)
that will be related to your XI (integration server)
b) from XI to R3
you jut use RFC connection in XI that points to R3

Magnus,
Take a look at this blog.
It describes how the R3 system connects to XI fro ABAP Proxies,
