Not able to see customer master in SAP MDG search

Dear Experts,

In our scenario we have deployed SAP MDG -C over existing SAP ECC.

Customers are already created in the system but none of them are visible in the ERP Customer Ui in MDG during search.

Has anybody faced similar problem.

Please help urgently

Hello Vaibhav,

You will need to map the Customers to Business Partners, only then will you be able to see them via MDG.

PLease configure the CVI settings & BP relevant configuration and thereafter, use mds_load_cockpit to create BP for existing customers.

I have number ranges in Vendor based on Account group.

How will I map it to the BP.

Please let me know

Hello Vaibhav,

You subject in Question is about CUSTOMERS, but you are now mentiong VENDORS.

Anyway, the logic is same for both as long as you are clear as to which master you are using.

Simialrly you will have number ranges of BP as per BP acc groups.

The mapping of each relevant vendor/ cutsomer account group is to be done with the relevant BP acc group.

PLease refer the CVI (Customer Vendor Integration ) for vendor, provided in the path -->

MDGIMG -> Master Data Governance -> Master Data Governance for Supplier -> Integration with Vendor Master in ERP -> Set up Customer Vendor Integration for MDG for Supplier
