SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP 7.03 64-bit Trial

Hey,

I try to setup SAP trial and get these DL links:

ABAP Trial 7.02 SP11 Win 64 bit Version with Gateway 2.0 SP04

SAP NetWeaver ABAP Trial 7.02 SP11 Win 64 bit Version, 3.387 GB

SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.03 SP04 64-bit Trial, 3.912 GB

SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.03 SAP GUI for Java

SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP SAP GUI for Windows 7.30 PL4 HF1, 121 MB

As I'm walking in the dark I decide to choose "SAP NetWeaver ABAP Trial 7.02 SP11 Win 64 bit Version, 3.387 GB" and setup was fine.

Only with the GUI I've some issue - when I try to setup "SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP SAP GUI for Windows 7.30 PL4 HF1, 121 MB" I get an error and informed, that I've to setup GUI 7.20 first.

But there's no link for so I've no idea how to get?

Can you give me a hint please?

Thank you!

Andre

Merry Christmas

I'd download the latest SAP GUI (7.40) and the latest patch - see this thread for links:

I think is only accessable for customers, isn't it?

As I'm not a customer but a developer I think I can't access.

You need an S-ID for SAPnet to access the download area.

Thank you for the hint.

I note that pertner number is required for registration.

So you can DL a free trial of full solution but get an GUI version you can't install because of missing previous version.

To get another GUI you've to be a partner or customer - in result no more trial is needed.

Sound strange ...

By all means, the included SAP GUI should work... not sure why it doesn't. My suggestion was just to have a different source for a SAP GUI installation file. I didn't know that you don't have S-ID access to the SAP support portal.

Thank you very much for your attempt to help.

Of course I'm not very happy with this SAP issue but that not belongs to you of course.
