Distribution finish does not match role finish

Hi All,

We are trying to create snapshot from the project,but it is throwing error "Distribution finish does not match role finish". We checked distribution dates of role in the Resource tab and they are the same as project start and finish date.We are not using CATS.

Inaddition to that we checked note 1674157 but in our case BADI is not there as well as we are on PPM 6.0 so it has status "Cannot be implemented".Also when we make changes in original project it is not giving any error. What should be done ?

We came across note https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap/support/notes/2251181 which is recently released and have can be implemented status. Also we increased start date of the Project and it is now allowing the Snapshot creation. Will post further in case of still issue is not solved.

For your response onto it actually we made changes to the dates of original project to accommodate the role and it worked well.
