SAP CRM5.0 and ERP6 EHP7 Upgrade dependencies

Hello friends,

One of client is looking for only upgrading their 4.7 ECC to ERP6 EHP7 system. They also have CRM5 system which they do not want to upgrade.

Do we have upgrade dependencies between these 2 products ?

Can you please help me with this.. see below my findings.

I need a SAP Note/Document which directly say its possible OR Not possible. I am not sure if SAP UAD is always correct.

The UDA tool says "No known upgrade dependencies, independent upgrade possible" but the SAP note 1406261 - SAP for Utilities: Release combination CRM and ECC has a different information, probably based on the usage scenario. The note 1951805 - Adjusted Version Interoperability for Business Suite 7i2013 says the message from the UDA tool is correct. So it should be the answer I suppose. In any case I would recommend you to raise an OSS message and have it checked. No harm in doing it.

Hi  Ashish.

1. If you want to upgrade the ECC to ERP 6 EHP7.before that you have upgrade the CRM to NW 7.3

2. You can refer the SAP Note 1388258 with pdf attachment.
