Dear Saikiran,

You can increase/decrease and change the Drive for maintaining swap memory.

You need to follow the steps suggested by Prithviraj Rajpurohit.

Hi,

You can do it without any problem. Maybe you have to restart SAP application.

1. Right Click Computer -> Choose Properties
2. Click Advanced System Settings
3. Performance Tab -> Click Settings
4. Advanced Settings Tab -> Virtual Memory -> Click Change
5. Uncheck Automaticaly manage page file
6. Clicking on disk will allow you to set paging file where you want

Hi,

Just to add one more point on Prithvi...You have to reboot of your Windows machine after changing SWAP.

Thanks,

Hi Mofizur,

As far as I know increasing does not require a reboot, but decreasing swap space requires a reboot of the server.

Hi Prithvi,

You are right! Sorry for my earlier comment.

Increases in size usually don't require a restart for the changes to take effect, but if you decrease the size, you'll need to restart your computer. We recommend that you don't disable or delete the paging file.

Yes you can change SWAP memory and at the most you can restart SAP once this is done to finally take this effected.
