on doing this will both the technical systems(WEB AS JAVA AND WEB AS ABAP) be created on its own in the

sld

i dont have any appln systems attached to my server so the r/3 system specified by you would be the XI server itself

is it correct,anticiapting ur reply at the earliest

Hi,

RZ70 to create ABAP technical system

AFAIR

SLD data supplier service (via visual admin)

to supply data about JAVA WAS

but just in case copy the data from java and abap was (screenshots)

so you'll be able to recreate them easily manually - just in case

where do we see the service name that i need to mention while recreating

and is server nothing but the host name.

server = your XI server host

service = sapgw + XI system number

Michal is right on this one... on top of that you could refresh th cache as well.

Also just to confirm you are trying to create the business system for the integration server arent you?

If you are not then make sure the role is defined properly as an Application system etc
