SQLAnywhere 5.0 connection driver

I am seeking information on where I can find a database driver for SQL Anywhere 5.0.  I have a legacy system that I need access to.  If anyone could 1) offer the information on the driver or 2) point me in the right direction, I would be incredibly grateful as I have spent a lot of time on this situation.

Hi Chris,

If you just need to export the data in the version 5 database, you should be able to do this using the version 17 developer edition. SQL Anywhere 17 can start and connect to a version 5 database only for the purpose of unloading it into a SQL file containing the database structure, along with the table data.

This version is very old.

Therefore, I think that we do not release the driver of this version now.

When you have an official account for support, you should ask this question using the account.

If SAP is not able to help, you could use the nefarious other sources of the software.  If you do go down that route, do so only to upgrade/migrate the data to either a supported release of SQL Anywhere or to another DBMS.
