RLT not confirming qty in Existing Sch Agree (VA32)

D Friends,

The issue is in Availability Check.

  1.    Till now RLT was not activated in our Availability Check for Scheduling Agreement (VA31).
  2.    Hence system never confirmed the quantity in the schedule lines, if there is no sufficient stock (including receipts from production order).
  3. After wards when stock arrives, user does CO06 to confirm the quantity to create Delivery.
  4. Now we want to activate RTL in Availability check. We’re doing testing.
  5. Now if there is no stock, system confirms the quantity using RLT time maintained in Material Master.
  6. For the new Scheduling Agreement, it is working fine.
  7. But for existing Scheduling Agreements- it is not working. E.g. Suppose user adds a new schedule line in the existing Scheduling Agreement and that Scheduling Agreement already had a schedule line in which there was no confirmed qty. Now the new schedule line is not getting confirmed.
  8. Is this a std. logic? If it is so, how to handle the existing Scheduling Agreement after activating RLT?

  Thanks.

Any configuration change will have impact on newly created documents and not on the existing documents.
