Display Problem in Attached Documents Using Desktop Link

Hi Experts,

I have attached some documents (format like: .DOC, .DOCX, .TXT, .XLS, .XLSX etc) using Desktop Link (Drag & Drop) to a particular business transaction. But the attached documents are not displaying when I want to see them. Only .DOC file is opening. Other files are giving error during displaying. For reference I have attached the screenshot of the error during open the .DOCX file. 

Please guide me how I can overcome this display problem.

Hello ,

This looks like Microsoft issue.

have you tried to open the documents from other desktop with different MS office version.?

If not ....try from other system.

You can refer Microsoft site for similar issue.

Hi Anand,

Thanks for your suggestion. Tried with different MS office version. But still facing same error.

If is there any other way, please suggest.

Hello ,

Can you check if the MIME type of the documents is correct ? You have to check on the Content Server, and SAP application level.

Hi S S B,

Thanks for your suggestion. I have selected correct MIME, only one Document type is created for attach DOC file. I have checked the same in OAD5 and OAC2. Anything need to cross check or modification is required to resolve this retrieval attached document please suggest.

It is happening with all type of Document Classes. Not specified DOC file.
