SAP Router Setup

Hi,

I just setup a new SAP Landscape for a new client.

A new solman 7.1 is installed and now I want to install saprouter so I can download all the necessary notes when I do solman_setup.

But I am very confused on how to setup a sap router.

My first confusion is this. There are two versions of saprouters 7.21 and 7.42 I can use either of them? as well as the same for sapcrypto lib.. which one I have to use? Does saprouter version have to be based on anything? If not why are there two versions available and also the last update for both of the versions are on the same date. Tks for your inputs.

Currently waiting for SAP to approve my sapcryptolib file to be approved to download from my download basket, so before I start I get this confusion clarified. Tks

Hi Jack,

You can find the answer to your question in Note 1897597.

SAP recommends to use the latest one(for now 7.42) unless it is not available for your platform.

The same applies to the cryptolib (download and use the latest).
