Progress POC calculation - Period or YTD

Hi Experts,

We are using a RA Method which uses POC from progress analysis to calculate revenue.

The Progress analysis is EV Basis = 1 Cost Plan (active project , overall values)

POC Weighting = 7 Cost Plan (active project, annual values)

The POC formula = Planned Cost for the period / Overall planned cost is what I understand.

My question is regarding the POC formula if we run the CNE1 in the middle of the month what data will system consider ?

a) POC = Planned Cost for the period / Overall Planned cost

or

b) POC= Planned cost for the period till date / Overall Planned cost

Thanks,

Krishna

Hi

System will calculate the POC based on Period wise from my understanding.

a). POC = Planned Cost for the period / Overall Planned cost

Thanks & Regards

Hi Ganesan,

Thanks for the reply.

Is there any particular config/setting which controls this?

ie in the numerator of the formula can we make system look for just "planned cost for the period till date" vs "planned cost for the period"?

or its standard that it always take total planned cost for the period?

Thanks,

Krishna

Hi Krishna,

The planned cost is stored in the system by period and not by the date, therefore there is no such information as planned cost year to date.

Thanks Paulo. That makes sense.
