Hi dear Gurus,
We have Solution Manager 7.1 SPS11 and now we are using CHARM, we have following groups:
REQUESTERS
DEVELOPERS
TESTERS
APPROVER
CHANGE MANAGER
IT OPERATOR
I need detailed instructions on how to send and email notification when you receive a request for develop (DEVELOPER)
Request for Test (TESTER)
Request for approve a change (APPROVER)
Notification on Status Change (CHANGE MANAGER)
Notification on Tasks (IT OPERATOR)
Notification when request is complete (REQUESTER)
Thank you so much
Hello Jose,
Now a days we have a fantastic approach for email in ChaRM and known as Mail forms replacing smartforms
you can check below link for more insights for the same.
Mail Forms in CRM Marketing - CRM - SCN Wiki
Sending e-mails in Change Request Management - Solution Manager - SCN Wiki
all the above are very step by step and will help you to achieve it
all the best
Thanks

Hello Jose,
Approach is different now and you don't need a new class or method etc for processing it.
Create a new Mail form in Service Operations
Use the standard ChaRM email action by copying it ...there won't be any class only method 'SEND_MAIL_WITH_MAIL_FORMS'
provide your mail form here
create a scheduling/start condition for the same.
Thats't you are done.
it is much more simplified and above approach will be helpful.....pls check below again its has all the steps
one important point, as mentioned you while creating ur mail form take care of URL(Point 6.2)
thus, no need to create a new smartform but mail form
hope this helps and feel free to connect further
Thanks
Prakhar
