Hi
In Lumira 1.28, the security can be defined to follow existing environment/profiles that has been setup.
- You will have BW users, with SAP roles & infoareas
- you will have Hana users, with roles, packages & analytical privileges
- you will have BO/BI users, with folder accesses & application rights
However, if I have an oracle table that I am extracting from, when the refreshed is done and published, is there a way to perform row level security depending on the user who is viewing the data? I am connecting Lumira directly to the table via Freehand SQL.
Tks
Lumira will respect Row-level security when acquiring (fetching) the data from universe into Lumira desktop. Using freehand SQL, you'd have to set up the security on the database end.
