Parameter dbs/hdb/schema is hash out

Dear  Mentors,

We are facing strange issue,As we know Profile paramater  dbs/hdb/schema = <Schema name> should be set to connect application  with HANA. But in our case if we hash out this parameter,then only our application is coming up. We search profile directory, nowhere this parameter is maintain apart from default.pfl

Problem is Concept is defeating. Can u please help, how is this possible

Dear  Prithvi,

Thanks for response. As per note, if parameter isn't at ABAP level, it might be at OS level. But in my case, it is hash out at ABAP level and not set  at OS level also. However, application is running fine.

Thats a confusion.

Hi Sumit,

Did you try maintaining the schema_name in UPPER case for the either of the parameter profile or OS? and check if system is than able to start or not?

Also,

What is the patch level for DBSL?

1600066 - Available DBSL patches for NewDB

check if the patch level support the parameter?

Hello Prithvi,

We checked in work logs, and found that Parameter isn't necressary to set bcoz while application startup, application looks DB schema in hdbsecurestore.

Thats y our application running fine
