Idoc to SOAP with acknowledgement

HI ,

I need to create the scenario where we are sending IDOC from ISU to PI to third party( soap). We need acknowledgement back from third party which we will send it to ISU. please help me with important links or documents.

isnt it that we use idx_noale when we are sending data to third party and we need ack from isu? can we use it for the scenario where we are expecting ack from third party.?? if yes, then what we need to do.

Hi Sherwin,

If you want send a acknowledgement to the sender system after you successfully delivered the message to the receiver system then you need to enable it using IDX_NOALE, the receiver is anything either SAP system or Non SAP system (Third party).

HI,

Thanks for the reply. IS it possible with only one interface. In Ack we are not expecting any data. just some ack that our data was delivered. I am talking about the standard Ack for IDoc from Third party.

Hi Sherwin,

Yes it is possible, you need to enable the acknowledgements for that idoc in PI (Using program IDX_NOALE).
