FILE channel stop and start

Hi,

FILE sender communication channel in PRD was working fine till date and today have found that there are few unprocessed files which are not picked up by the channel. When I stopped and restarted the channel all files have been picked up and is working fine.

Can you please let me know why this behaviour and what needs to be done o ensure that this does not happen in future.

Hi Abhiskeh,

So times it happens that you channels gets locked automatically hence it stop polling , even we faced these type of issue where basis team will unlock this objects.

I'm don't know why channel stop polling.

However take a look at SAP Note 1808222 It won't solve your problem but can help to identify when it happens.

In addition to all these notes also check the processing mode once,might be the files with same names are not getting processed.

Have you got a cluster node in PRD, may this is the problem  2029410 - Assign a File Sender Channel to poll at specific cluster node ?

Also check this note 1623337 - PI/XI - File adapter polling but not processing any files

Check whether any ATP is stopping the channel.

There is no ATP configured for this channel.
