Writeable once field

Hi Experts,

We have a field of type booloean and it is an writeable once field.. As defined in MDM console the value cannot be changed once updated...

But still i want to know is there any way to edit this one... We are using SP14..

Hello Nitin!

You can change the value by doing the following:

1) Stop the repository.

2) Change the writable once property of the field to No.

3) Start the repository and edit the record as needed.

After doing so you can revert the writable once to Yes following the same steps above.
