Configure additional notes for certain BP Role

Hi

I am trying to assign some additional notes, that is only visible to certain BP role.

I followed the customizing setting:

1. Specify notes in "Business partner: Notes (role)" (e.g. create a new note: ZZ01)

2. Business partner: Customizing role category - text ID

When I tried to assign the role to the new note ID I created, I can't, and have the following error msg:

"Entry  ZZ01  does not exist in TTXID (check entry)"

If I check table TTXID, entry 'ZZ01' is available.

I can't add other text ids either. It all gave the same error msg.

How to add customized notes available for customized role category?

Hi Rusyinni,

I was able to add an entry.

First I created role category under below path:

Real Estate--> Partner Data-->Controlling Business Partner Maintenance-->Role categories and Role types

Maintain Z009 under defined role category.

I then created text id under below customizing:

Path : Real Estate -->Partner data-->General data on Business partners-->Notes on business partners.

In the first two nodes, Business partner: Notes (role) & Business partner: Notes (general) I created the text id ZZ01 under both the nodes.

In the 3rd node, Business partner: Customizing role category - text ID, I then created the below entry:

Mapped the customer defined role category Z009 to ZZ01 text ID.

I've done the same thing, but still not allowing me to save

INstead of creating new entry, create your entry  by copying an existing one and make necessary changes.

Two more things,

1. in which application area you are adding this entry

2. check ur authorization using SU53, i have SAP all access
