Dear,
For "Shelf life data" of the material master :
Maximum storage period: It i snot having any impact on functional purpose. This is just for information only.
You can use the material based on QA inspection results unless you have a custom control in usage of these type of materials in your organization.I mean is there any settings made to send the "Shel life expired" materials automatically to blocked stock based on any job process. This can be achieved using transaction QA05 with specific variant.
The shelf life expiration date check is active for "PLANT" & " MOVEMENT TYPE" in
SPRO-->Inventory Management and Physical Inventory-->Goods Receipt-->Set Expiration Date Check.
Regards,
pardhu

Hi Cristina,
your question is not clear.
you want to use the material even after completion of expiry date ???.
currently are you using QA07 deadline monitoring of batches functionality ???
currently stocks of batches which are completed expiry date are moved to blocked stock ??
Please elaborate your question so that we can help you..
Thanks
Kumar

Hi Cristina,
what do you expect from the system in which module?
Shall there be a new Q check for that batch or a warning message when you try to use this batch in delivery?
If the shelf-life-expiration date is reached you should do a new Q check for that batch in order to check if the quality is still OK.
Best regards
Patrick
