TPL Issue. Means of Transport updated twice

Hi all,

I am having an issue in Transportation Lane (TPL).

While posting bulk records in production or somehow Means of Transport is updated twice in TPL.

Because of this duplicate. While posting PO its throwing error saying "Transportation Lane not Found".

Can any one tell me why its updated twice and how to restrict it from updating twice.

Hi Samson,

Please follow the below steps

1.Go to Transportation Lane screen.

2.On top click on Edit button.

3.Select the duplicate Means of transport button and then delete it.

4.Click on Save.

I posted a flat file which contains bulk records from Baan to FSP.

Which triggers this function module "Z_BAPI_GET_TRANPORTLAN_STATUS"

Hi all,

When two TPL is created for the same combination but different product at the same time then the means of transport is updated twice.

For example:

TPL 1:  Supplier Location    = 832SUPP

            Customer Location = 832CUST

            Product                 = TEST_PROD

TPL 2:  Supplier Location    = 832SUPP

            Customer Location = 832CUST

            Product                 = TEST1_PROD1

When this two TPL are created exactly at the same time then the means of transport is updated twice.

We are not sure how batch job program is set up.
