Java applications status in NWA - best practice and export to excel

Hello experts.

I would like to export a current "snapshot" of Java application and Java services in NWA.

For some reason - no "export to excel" button is there for me to use. I have tried searching around some more but it seems there is nothing to use.

Also, is there a best practice regarding what applications and what services should be started?

Regards,

Imanuel Rahamim.

Imanuel,

why you need to start/stop the services?

No. I just need to document a snapshot of a healthy situation.

As we jave many applications in stop it is hard to go one by one, this is why I want an excel that will contain all of them fir later comparison.

Hi Imanuel,

I'm not aware of Excel spreadsheet export functionality for a list of applications and their statuses in NWA, but you may want to try a workaround for this and retrieving required information by using a web service named SAPControl. This service is provides SAP instance and cluster management operations (both monitoring and administrative) and is exposed as a SOAP service. The service is accessible at http://<host>:5<instance number>13/SAPControl.cgi of your PI system, its WSDL definition can be retrieved from http://<host>:5<instance number>13/?wsdl. The service has operation J2EEGetComponentList, which provides a list of Java applications and services, including their statuses. Response is provided in XML format, but you may then convert it to CSV or any other format you prefer.

You can read more about SAPControl service at  .
