Question on Lumira Extensions

Hi Experts,

I have a question related to licensing part for developing SDKs/extensions for Lumira.

I developed some extensions using SAP VizPacker tool (I think it's free because we have Lumira license and it comes with lumira installation). But I am not able to upload the extensions on Lumira Server (1.29.3). So I migrated all the extensions to SAP Web IDE (with HANA trial account). Now it's working fine on Lumira server, but I am not sure whether SAP Web IDE is free or not. Can we use the extensions developed with SAP Web IDE for productive use?

Can someone explain me about this question?

Regards,

Niket Talati

Hi

did you contact sales people on same?

As SAP Web IDE Trial Instances are for free they come with certain limitations:

To make use of the full potential of SAP Web IDE without these limitations you can easily purchase SAP Web IDE instances on SAP HANA Cloud platform via the SAP Store.

I'd suggest contacting sales:

Hi,

SAP Web IDE (with HANA trial) is a trial version for non-productive usage only.

For productive usage: SAP HANA Cloud Platform or SAP Store

Hi Pradeep,

Thanks for the answer but little bit confusing. Since I also found out one SCN blog which is telling Web IDE is free with HCP Free Edition. Still I am not sure about licensing part. Even the blog you mentioned, there also it's mentioned that with new release of HCP, this comment (non productive use one) may be outdated.
