Advanced Macro Alerts Actions and Uses

Hello,

I came across the these actions in the macro alerts in APO DP.

ADD

DELETE and

UPDATE

here I am not being able to comprehend what does ADD action exactly used for and are its uses same for Dynamic and Database alerts. As I could see few macro applies ADD action to Aux.Rows .

Hi Harshad,

You can use ADD Action in DB Alert in APO-DP macro to basically add(generate) the alert in your planning book based on the required condition.

For example in the below screenshot, you can see a new alert Type "Test Alert" is added in ADD Mode. So when the macro it will generate this alert based on the condition of your macro.
