Storage bin specific Vs product specific physical inventory

In EWM, when to use storage bin specific physical inventory and when to use product specific physical inventory?

Is it decided by any business scenario?

Hi,

Normally companies can perform the product specific PI  for highly valued products.

If companies want to coiunt area wise PI,they can maintain PI areas and perform the count across all the bins
