Hi all,
i want to use the SAP Internet Graphics Server (already installed and running) to render some charts. I heard that it is possible to get chart graphics via http requests.
Can someone tell me where i can find the documentation for those requests (url, parameters, schema for the payload)?
Thanks,
Timo
Hi,
thanks for the answers, but my problem is a bit different.
I don't want an integrated solution with BSPs or WebDynpro - i am writing a java application and i want to use the IGS to render the charts.
Does someone know if it is possible to simply fetch a rendered image from the IGS with a simple http request?
I want to put all my chart data (chart type, labels, data) in a http request and get an image (gif/jpg..) as response - is this possible?
Thanks, Timo

Timo,
Have you reached a solution on how to do it? Have you contacted SAP directly for the documentation? I'm looking @ the same issue. Please share.
Thanks,
Julie

Hello Timo,
have also a look on this weblog:

have you tried to use the SDN Search with the Keyword IGS?

Gregor
