Dynamically creating Target folders based on File Name without ESR objects

Hi PI Gurus,

Need your help here.

I have requirement where I have pick the file from SAP ECC AL11 and place the file on target folder on FTP server and I have not used ESR objects.

But client requirement is based on File Name , I need to create target folders dynamically?

Please let me know how this can be achieved without ESR objects?

As variable substitution and Dynamic Configuration needs ESR.

Hi Sarvjeet,

The only way for this to get achieved without ESR is via the use of a customized adapter module. With regards to development effort, it is advised to use the ESR route.

if you go without esr, depending on what you would place the file in dynamic folder?

Hi Maheswarareddy,

Based on File Name.. which will contain some company code... I need to target directory(folders) on FTP server.

For example: File name is AP_CompCode1.txt, I have create folder CompCode1 and this file should be placed in that folder.
