Silver light not working in Windows 10

Hi All,

Can any one please let me know that is there any additional settings required to run "Silverlight" in Microsoft Edge explorer under Windows 10 ?

After reinstalling Silver Light in Windows 10 then opened C4C URL in Microsoft Edge and clicked on "launch in Microsoft" it says "TO view this content please reinstall Silverlight".

Thanks

Hi Hemant,

Edge browser doesn't Microsoft Silverlight. Please refer the announcement from Microsoft under "Microsoft Edge and Silverlight" in https://blogs.windows.com/msedgedev/2015/07/02/moving-to-html5-premium-media/.

So as informed by Chandan, alternatively use the Internet Explorer or Firefox browsers.

Sandeep

Silverlight relies on ActiveX technology and Support for ActiveX has been discontinued in Microsoft Edge, and that includes removing support for Silverlight.

Customers using Silverlight on Windows 10 can continue to work on Internet Explorer 11.

Silverlight supported browsers - https://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/locale/en-us/html/installation-win-SL5.html

Thank you.

Hello Hemant,

Even I was not able to open it in Edge. However you can still open it in IE on Windows 10. So meanwhile you can continue using IE until C4C in Silverlight is made available for Edge.
