How to import ID objects in QA?

We are on PO7.40 and we are using IFlow instead of ICO. For some reason, my client doesn't want to setup CTS+ (trusted me I tried to convince them). So we are using File Transfer for transport. No Issue with ESR objects.

For ID objects, we have to use NWDS to export the IFlows to file. My question is how do we import the ID file to QA? two options:

1) use Swing UI, import objects, then activate after adjusting ID objects

2) use NWDS, import under menu Process Integration --> Transport --> Import PI objects. Activate / deploy after adjusting objects.

I'd say the second option is better, but I'd like to have second option regarding how to do it. And whether or not both option will work.

I know i can just try it, but we are on tight schedule, I don't want to waste time here (we will do the transport in the next days).

Yes, Second option (import from NWDS) is better.

would the first option also work? You know IFlow is also viewable in Swing, though not editable.

Have you done the second option previously?

Hey Jayson,

First of all second option is the one you can go for.

By using swing tool, you can export the ico generated from ifow and that will work fine.
