I would like to know if it is possible to install SAP GUI 7.40 in a separate directory on the desktop and keep SAP GUI 7.20.If this is possible, how is it done?

Hi,
It is not possible to have two (or more) SAP Gui installations on the same desktop.
In order to achieve this, you have to use an application virtualization solution like Citrix XenApp, VmWare ThinApp or something like this.
