Connect sales contract with purchasing contract

Hello

I have been looking for a connection between the sales contract and a purchasing contract. Meaning when we sell a material (which we buy and store from a third party) to certian customers whith sales contracts and discounts, then we would like this to be connected to the purchasing contract that will give a lower price there. (this is in agreement with the vendor, if we sell his materials to certain customers our purchasingprice is lower)

Is this possible to achive? without engaging the abap people

Hi Ivar,

Did you ever find a way of linking Sales and Purchase contracts. We are a trading organisation so also wish to link Sales and Purchase contracts, not from a pricing perspective but certainly from a contract fulfilment perspective. So if we have a Sales Contract with a Customer for them to buy 1000 cases of product ABC within a defined time period, we would also have a Purchase Contract with a Supplier to buy the 1000 cases of product ABC. If the Customer doesn't purchase all 1000 cases we need to have reporting that flags we have purchased product ABC on a purchase contract but not sold it on a Sales Contract....and commercial colleagues need to take action!

I am sure an ABAPer can create a link but is there a standard SAP way of connecting them?

Can't you just create pricing condition records for those customers based on the purchasing contract?

Without ABAP, how would such "connection" work otherwise? Someone would manually navigate to the purchasing contract to look up the price? That's just silly...
