SAP - lost option to transfer files to the EXCEL(spreadsheet) while export from SAP system

Hello Experts,

In one of the SAP system users are facing below issue. Requesting your suggestions to resolve this.

Issue:  Users lost option to transfer files to the EXCEL(spreadsheet) while export from SAP system to download reports.

Hello ,

This was changed by SAP with Note 1776721-Spread sheet for list in local file.

With SAP-BASIS release 740(came with EHP7 installation),They have removed the name “Spread sheet” and replaced it with “text with tabulators” .

Hi Shivanand,

use the option "Text with Tabs" and give the file the name something.xls you'll get the same result.
