ECM long text issue

Hi SAP experts,

We face a problem.

In the change mode of the ECM, user opens the long text.Based on latest settings it opens in Word format which is fine.

User enters only & in long text and saves it. Now when he navigates to long text in editor format we can see some special characters added before and after &. In editor its now <(>&<)>

We face this problem only when & is provided without space before it or without any text before and after &.

May be for some standard SAP reason this is happening but not sure why? Can any one help me on this and let me know why this behavior of SAP is?

I checked many thread but most of them are not specific to this, thats the problem

Hi Maruti,

Will it work for you?

If you select Goto-->Configure Editor and uncheck Graphical PC Editor.

This setting will not use Worddot , & works fine with this setting.

Yes configure ediotr is working but i need this fix in ediotr board because my PDF form reads the data from this ediotr board
