User oracle or orasid for 12c upgrade

In this blog post [ ] there is a statement concerning the Oracle 12c SAP user:

"This step is optional but make sure that Oracle12c installation is done with user oracle"

As it was a bit confusing, I tried to comment, but as this is not allowed I use this thread.  Another blog mentions the required user ID:

Because of "buried" shell scripts and other required rework/risk, the original restriction was relaxed.

Hi Jim,

The idea of whether to user orasid is changed. You can check the latest official upgrade guide via link:

Database Upgrade
Oracle

Previously it is not allowed to use orasid anymore, but now orasid can be used.

Best regards,
James

That's what Juergen Kirschner said in our 12c training this week.  The other blog I referenced said the opposite.

Hi Jim,

Yes, some documents are out of date. As mentioned, you can refer to SAP oracle upgrade guide which does clearly mention we can still use orasid as the oracle owner.

Best regards,
James
