Hello,
we have the requirement, to create a GS1-128 Barcode with pdf-forms (Adobe Forms). But in the LifeCycle Designer, it is not possible to choose this type of Barcode.
This Barcode has standardised application identifiers which are printed as text in brackets, but when you read the Barcode with a scanner, the brackets are not in the result of the scanner.
We want to print the text with the brackets underneath the Barcode, but we only want to use one variable field. Now we use the "Code 128" Barcode in LifeCycle Designer. But here the Content of the Barcode and the text are the same. So you have the brackets also in the Content of the Barcode.
For example:
As text underneath the Barcode should be printed: (17)200300(10)15C12(30)25
When you read it with a scanner, the result should be: 172003001015C123025
The Workaround is to use two variables, one for the text and one for the Content of the Barcode, but we only want to use one variable
Do you have an idea, how to realise it, with only one variable, which is binded to the Barcode?

AFAIK in Adobe Livecycle Designer you can add fonts.
