archive issue (changedocu object)

Hi all.

I have issue with archiving CHANGEDOCU object.

this object directly connect to tables :

CDCLS

CDHDR

I'm using SARA transaction.

and delete after archiving the data from the DB.

but after the job finished the process, I'm still see entries in the period the was deleted.

why there is still records in the database?

Hi Yossi,

Was your delete job successful? Check the job log

Check in SARA for CHANGEDOCU --> Archiving Object-Specific Customizing --> Technical Settings

You have

Delete Before Storing selected.

Than try to archive a few records and check.

the deletion was successful .

this table are linked to another object (I see this in db15- object for table)

so I need to archive all this object too

for empty this tables?

Hi Yossi,

Delete job will delete the data from below mentioned tables

CDPOS_UID

CDPOS_STR

CDHDR

CDCLS

You can find this details in DEL job.

Did you check this?

Check in SARA for CHANGEDOCU --> Archiving Object-Specific Customizing --> Technical Settings

You have

Delete Before Storing selected.

Also while running the Delete job did you select Test mode?

Check this notes, if they are relevant.

1033976 - CHANGEDOCU: CDHDR entries are not deleted

932373 - CD: Archiving: Not all change documents are deleted
