Hi,
I'm doing a simple map in which I have to add the individual order amount of the items and map the consolidated entry into the target field. I did this using the sum function which adds all the order amount under the context. But the source order amount field is of type xsd:decimal and when I do the sum operation on that it is giving me an error saying <b>cannot cast to float</b>
Can anybody clarify on this error?
Thanks
Arvind
Hi,
Go for context function.

Hi,
try to use the UDF to cast the input decimal vaklue to float and make sum, before mapping , use removecontext function.

Hey
u can use sum function within the same context, make sure that all the items are under the same context,if not then use the RemoveContext function to remove the context and then use the sum function
thanx
