reinstall central instance on other host without reinstall db

Hallo, if my central instance application server failed, is it possible to reinstal it on other server without reinstalling db server?

In my scenario I have /sapmnt/SID/gobal available from failed server.

db server and application servers are on different hosts.

Hi Mae Ker,

yes, central application server can be installed on other server without installing db server.

Or you can install the message and en-queue functionality to any of the application server to make that app server as central instance.
