Hi Sanket
Please check if SIGNATURE.SMF file is existing on your QA server under C:\Program Files\SAP\hostctrl\exe\ folder. Copy and paste SIGNATURE.SMF file to same path on DEV Server where you are trying to install SRM 703 and retry the installation. Please confirm if this resolves the issue.

Hi Sanket
Please note that it is clearly mentioned in above slide that MCOD is only supported for non production use. I was referring to Production use case where MCOD is supported with restriction as per SAP Note 1661202.
Please carry on if you want to install for non production use case and of course, if sufficient hardware resources are available.

Hi Sanket
Scenario you are talking about is classified as MCOD (Multiple Components on One Database) which is subjected to restricted use as recommended by SAP. Please refer SAP Note 1661202 - Support multiple applications one SAP HANA database / tenant DB which mentions SAP Systems whitelisted for this scenario.
Basically, SAP introduced concept of MDC to support this scenario for productive use only. Hope this note clarifies your query. Please do not forget to mark this as helpful or correct if your query is answered.
Cheers
